Passion in Photography

Passion in Photography

If you have a passion in photography, think of how you can put your passion to use and how to get the practice.

It is the artist that makes the art and not the tools.

My passion in photography can be traced to my childhood.  My father used to take a lot of photographs of us.

Photographs is a way to document our past.  Many years when we are old and grey, we can look at the photographs and reflect.   it helps us remember the fun we used to have.

However, I found that I do not take photographs as much because it was too inconvenient to carry the camera.  Too often, when the opportunity arises, I had left the camera at home.

With the progress of technology, camera have gotten smaller and more compact.    However, to truly get great photos, DSLR cameras are still the best.  I just cannot justify spending that much money for these toys.

The key thing about good photography is boils down to the following:

  • Opportunity
  • Subject (the focus).
  • Composition (what is the story you are trying to tell).
  • Lighting.

Just as in all activities, we have a choice either to buy the best equipments are use a budget approach.  It is the artist that makes the art and not the tools.

Since the camera comes with my phone, I found that I am taking more pictures.  Here are some that you might like.
